The cruise is more than a learning experience; the venue provides an opportunity to network and develop comradery with other professionals and a chance to influence, mentor, or hire university students interested in pursuing careers in the various financial service professions. The event is home to the student Financial Services: Career Exploration Competition and Elevator Speech Contest.

The 2024 Financial ConNEXTion Cruise will be February 24 - March 2, 2024. This is an educational opportunity-- with some fun thrown in!
Educational Program & Student Contests

The Cruise includes educational programs with a blend of technical and business practical topics, evening networking dinners, optional cruise based spouse/guest programs, and ship and shore group fun.
In addition, the cruise is host to two student contests: Career Exploration Competition which will award up to five participating college teams a total of $10,000 and the Elevator Speech Contest which is open to all student attendees.
Why a Cruise?
​The cruise came about as a way to hold a moderately priced conference where financial services students could connect with industry professionals. Over the years, we have found that the venue gives an excellent opportunity to get to know others better than a normal conference, whether it's talking at dinners, over evening entertainment, shore excursions or just lounging around the pool. It's a chance for students to get to know professionals who have lots of experience and great connections. For professionals, it's a great chance to get to know and help influence the next generation, with the possibility of finding your next great team member.
